FAMILY THERAPY
In family therapy, the "client" is the relationship between family members. Together we will explore current interaction patterns in these relationships and work together to improve communication, connection, and collaboration. My goal is for each family member to feel heard and seen and for families to come together to create new patterns that best serve their needs.
Family therapy can include parenting, sibling relationships, multigenerational concerns, blended family changes, or any other challenges families may face.
Chosen families are welcome and the therapy I provide is LGBQIA+, trans/gender diverse, and polyam/CNM affirmative and inclusive. I have worked with children as young as four and held family sessions with as many as eight people! So, don't hesitate to reach out and schedule your first session!
PARTNER THERAPY
Intimate partner relationships are one of the most common types of chosen family! They mean so much to us and that is why it can be so hard when we encounter struggles here. In some ways, partner relationships are similar to other family relationships but they also present some unique experiences and challenges.
My goal is to work with you and your partner(s) to identify challenge areas and work together to improve communication, closeness, and (you guessed it!), collaboration. We will discuss emotional needs and build skills for working through conflict and supporting each other through challenges.
I practice polyam/CNM inclusive and affirmative therapy and welcome all forms of partner/intimate relationships. Please call or email to start today!
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
I also work with individuals!
In our therapy sessions, we’ll work to solve current problems and improve resilience and confidence to tackle future challenges. I will help you “re-frame” your reactions and support you in learning tools to cope with life’s obstacles. Together we will explore your story and the meaningful relationships in your life to help get you on the path to a happier, healthier you.
I practice LGBQIA+ and trans/gender diverse affirming therapy and encourage anyone who is considering starting therapy to reach out and see if this is a good fit for you!
GROUPS
At different times, I will also offer a variety of groups. These groups may be educational, support-centered, and/or therapeutic in nature. Sometimes they will be open just to individuals and sometimes to partners, parents, siblings, or families. Age-ranges may also vary depending on the group.
Generally speaking, these groups are based on community needs, so if there is a group you think would be helpful for you, a loved one, or others, I welcome your feedback and suggestions!
Please check-in to see what groups I am currently offering!

PRE-COMMITMENT COUNSELING PACKAGE
Relational therapy is a perfect way to improve upon open communication, conflict management strategies, and to identify and develop an understanding of one another’s core values, relationship needs, and expectations. Some of these may be things you share and some of them may be different. Some may already be known to you and some may be things you have not considered before.
As you approach different life transitions (marriage being one example) some of these values, needs, and expectations come up to the surface in new ways, or may even change. Therefore, it is during these times that relational therapy may be most helpful!
I am a certified PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator. The PREPARE/ENRICH is the #1 research-based assessment to help committed partners "gain a deeper understanding of dynamics, personality, stress and strength and growth areas".
I am currently offering this service in addition to relational therapy services and would be more than happy to incorporate this assessment in a way that works for you and your needs. To learn more about the assessment, please visit: www.prepare-enrich.com
Please reach out today if you would like to join or if you have any questions!
